asianbrides.xyz — Radio 2 DJ Johnnie Walker has said in a “very unfortunate announcement” that he is quitting both of his BBC songs programs because of sick health and wellness.
Walker, that is a broadcaster for 58 years, will step down towards completion of this month from his Sunday mid-day show Sounds Of The 70s and The Shake Show on Friday evenings.
The speaker has lung fibrosis which means the lungs become scarred and taking a breath is progressively challenging.

The broadcaster began his radio profession in 1966 at offshore pirate terminal Swinging Radio England, before transferring to Radio Caroline, where he held the night-time show.
When the terminal closed he signed up with BBC Radio 1 in 1969, proceeding until 1976, when he transferred to San Francisco to record a regular show which was broadcast on Radio Luxembourg.
He returned to the BBC in the very early 1980s where he has stayed since.
